Money can’t buy you happiness, but it can buy you love. Or can it?
Who’s back for another round?
What Is TMI Tuesday?
TMI Tuesday is a series of questions generated by TMI Tuesday Blog. It is a great way to meet other bloggers and to share some personal thoughts and experiences. It is important to remember that there are no right or wrong answers to these questions, only the answers of the author – and that’s part of what makes this tag so awesome!

Send Me Your Questions!
Do you have something you’ve been itching to ask? Maybe something food-related, something a little bit kinky or something completely random? Have fun with it, then be sure to check back next Tuesday for my answer!
And now, onto the questions…
1. Could you fall in love with and set up home with someone who has $100,000 (usd) in debt?
Ahh no, probably not. Fall in love with, maybe, but set up home? Absolutely not. I had a poor start in life, my parents did this crazy thing where they got a mortgage straight after getting married and so much of my childhood was plagued by not being able to afford much at all because of that decision. Anyway, my Dad would never let me have or condone me having a credit card – because they’re an easy way for you to get into so much debt – so I think for me now “debt” is a dirty word. To me, unless it’s tuition fees, then a huge debt is basically like saying “I have zero responsibility or accountability” and that’s a major turn off. Could I love them? Maybe, but there’d be no way we could live together and they’d have to be pretty f***ing sweet in other ways. Once your name goes down on a debt it becomes your problem, I won’t let that happen to myself and Matt already knows that taking out a credit card behind my back would spell the end of us. I’ve never even seen that kind of money, nevermind owed it! My Dad always said “if you can’t afford it, you can’t have it” and I’ve always lived by that.
2. Is it important for you to be the breadwinner or make more money than your significant other?
Not at all! You’d have to be really competitive and insecure to be like that and yeah, nah. Basically as long as we’re both contributing, we can afford what we want to and we’re both cool with the whole arrangement then I’m fine with whatever.
3. Are you happy with your chosen career path? What could be better?
Blogging? F***ing love it! Yes it’s stressful sometimes, I’m going through and editing the SEO on everything at the moment because I didn’t have Yoast for some several years, and that’s just proving to be a major headache. But you know, I do a little bit each day, slow and steady wins the race kind of thing. What could be better? Obviously more follows, likes, money from my posts etc etc… hehe.
4. Would you start a business with your significant other? Why or why not?
Yep! We’ve talked about this too. We were in Porthleven, Cornwall and Matt and I came up with a plan. We would own our own pub, it would be dog-friendly and have doggy social events, it would be called the Bag O’ Bones. It would have a rock & roll vibe and real, honest, home-cooked food, no chain stuff, just the stuff people know and love. Sure, there are dozens of dog-friendly pubs around, but ours would be the kind where owners and dogs arrive as strangers and leave as friends.
Bonus: Can money buy you love?
Sure, I paid £67 for my engagement dinner (someone forgot his card!) and I’m still here twelve years later 😉
